TAKING IT TO THE STREETS.

This city hasn’t been this lively since the WTO demonstrations. You’ve been asleep a long time seattle, its good to have you back. It was cathartic, sloppy, freezing and perfect. Its like everyone was purging themselves of the cynicism and negativity of the last 8 years. Ive never seen so many smiling faces all in one place, you could feel the joy radiating from everyone. Keep in mind this wasn’t a planned rally, this was thousands of random people filling a busy intersection and claiming it as their own. Whether obama is what he says he is and whether or not he can bring the change he promises remains to be seen but one thing is certain, what happened in the streets of seattle tonight was real and It was wonderful.







CORRUPTED.

last night i had the oppurtunity to see osaka japans corrupted play at neumos here in seattle. ive been going to shows for a long time and its usually enjoyable but once in a while i leave feeling like ive really experienced something. not just seen another band play. this was one of those shows. the power of corrupted cannot be denied, you must see this band live.

the big day is finally here. right on time for the weather to turn to absolute shit here in seattle. its seriously horrible out there right now. ill be spending my halloween at the iron lung/walls show and then heading to the warroom, hope you all have something fun planned tonight.

thanks to everyone who made it out to innerspace last night. there were something like 150 kids who paid to skate, definately the biggest GOODS night ive seen in a while. unfortunately i didnt get any shots of anyone actually skating, i was too busy photographing packs of ravenous kids clawing out each others eyes to get one of the commemorative GOODS x flying coffin x cons tees we made. good times.

PURE MUTANT.

this is jesse, the best/worst person to have around on a slow weds afternoon. hes currently wearing a different flying coffin shirt everyday for the month of october. he insists i give them to him for free because hes "on the team" i wasnt aware i had a team. in addition to his flying coffin tattoo hes got the mascot from the montgomery biscuits on his chest. and no hes not from montgomery or even remotely interested in minor league baseball.
